John E. Chance II Memorial Library

 

Mission Statement

 

The library is the womb of knowledge giving birth to a lifelong love of learning

while nurturing positive spiritual and intellectual growth

in our school community.

 

Library Hours

Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Students in grades 2-5 must be supervised by their own parent before school in the library.

Students may visit the library throughout the school day with the permission of their teacher.

 

 

Librarians 

 

Librarian:  Shannon W. Biggs has a Bachelor of Arts in Education, a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication, and a Library Science Certification. She has seventeen years of teaching experience in the classroom and the library.  

Assistant Librarian:  Melissa Olivier has a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Library Science Certification.  

She has twenty-three years of teaching experience in the classroom.

 

The librarians are certified teachers who partner with the technology and curriculum departments to fulfill the mission of the library and school.
