Spiritual Life

Religious education is a priority at Fatima, and that life-giving Spirit is embodied in all that we aspire to achieve.

Programs

In addition to daily classroom instruction, religious programs include liturgical music classes and weekly celebrations of the Eucharist during the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and First Friday Benediction. Students explore the Catholic faith through scripture, doctrine and morality. Family Life programs give instruction on the teachings of the Catholic Church on the issues of human sexuality and family life.

Community Service

The children of Fatima School participate in community service through programs such as Habitat for Humanity, visits to retirement homes, food drives and coat drives which distribute to the needy, and serving the less fortunate at St. Joseph's Diner.

Retreats

The 8th grade campus ministers enhance their leadership skills by planning and directing retreats for younger students, planning and participating in all-school liturgies and assisting with school-wide service projects. Fatima networks with area Catholic high schools to provide programs, including retreats, for our junior high students.

A Mission of Faith

The Catholic school has changed over the years. However, the unique mission of the Catholic school remains the same: to instruct according to the teachings of Jesus Christ while providing quality education in the academic realm. All aspects of Fatima's religion program prepare the students to be good and faithful servants of our Lord as they travel on their journey to the Kingdom of God.
