You may find books at the Lafayette Public Library or local bookstores. Please assist your child with finding books that pique their interest.
Although AR testing is not required for VIP status, students are encouraged to AR test on any books they may have read that are AR. For your convenience two optional summer reading AR test days are scheduled at school.
Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
*Parents and siblings are required to escort their child into school and wait outside in the hall during AR testing. Chairs will be available. AR testing will take place in the library and the librarians will there to assist.
Go to arbookfind.com to locate AR books, grade levels, points, and quiz numbers. http://www.arbookfind.com. You may search by book title or author.
If your child is unable to attend summer AR testing, please encourage him/her to test as soon as possible once school begins.
