Principal - Mr. Paul Hebert

E. Paul Hebert, who holds a bachelor's and a master’s degree from UL Lafayette in the field of education, has been working at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School since August 2023 in the capacity of Dean of Students. He now assumes the role of interim principal for the 2025-26 school year.

Mr. Hebert retired from the public school system after 30 years of service.  He served as a high school teacher and coach for ten years in the Acadia and Vermilion Parish School Systems.  Following his time in the classroom, he spent 10 years in school administration as an assistant principal and principal at Eaton Park Elementary and then principal at Kaplan Elementary.  Mr. Hebert then filled the role of Assistant Superintendent of Personnel and Administration for the Vermilion Parish School Board for ten years prior to his retirement in December of 2022.

Mr. Hebert is married to Erin Rogers Hebert.  Together they have three children - Zachary, who is stationed in Oklahoma with the U.S. Army; Alexander, who works as a computer programmer in Lafayette; and Hollyn, who is a college student at the University of Alabama.  They also have one grandchild, Arthur, who was born in November of 2024.
 

Assistant Principal, Director of Technology - Mrs. Meagan Lafitte

Mrs. Meagan Lafitte brings a deep passion for education and a strong commitment to Catholic values to Our Lady of Fatima School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2006, with certification in grades 1–6, later adding certification for Pre-K through 1st grade.

In 2012, she completed her Master of Education in Educational Technology Leadership at Northwestern State University. Mrs. Lafitte holds a Master Catechist Certificate through the Diocese of Lafayette and is a certified Apple Learning Coach and Apple Teacher.

Since beginning her teaching career in 2006, she has served in both elementary and middle school settings, joining the Fatima faculty in 2008. A proud alumna of both Our Lady of Fatima School and St. Thomas More Catholic High School, Mrs. Lafitte is also a dedicated parishioner and the parent of a Fatima graduate.

Religion Administrator - Mrs. Therese Doucet

Passionate about the Catholic faith and the mission of Catholic education, Mrs. Therese Doucet brings 30 years of experience in the classroom, with the majority spent teaching junior high Religion. A proud native of Ville Platte and graduate of Sacred Heart High School, she earned a B.A. in Elementary Education from McNeese State University and holds the distinction of being an Advanced Master Catechist. For the past 13 years, she has served at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School, continuing to share the joy of the Gospel and a deep love for forming young hearts and minds in faith.

Director of School Operations - Mrs. Mary Angelle

Mary Angelle begins her 35th year in Catholic Education.  Mrs. Angelle has 25 years of classroom experience in grades 1-8.  Prior to Director of School Operations, she served as Curriculum Administrator and Lower Elementary Disciplinarian.  Mrs. Angelle earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education grades 1-8 from the University of Southwestern Louisiana.  She holds a Master Catechist Certification from the Diocese of Lafayette.

Dean of Students - Mrs. Betsy Aloisio

Mrs. Aloisio brings 17 years of education experience to Our Lady of Fatima. She currently holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education  from Nicholls State University. Mrs. Aloisio received her Educational Leadership degree in 2025. She has worked for the Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux, Terrebonne Parish School Board, St. Tammany Parish School System, and most recently served as an Academic Behavior Coordinator for Lafayette Parish School System. Mrs. Aloisio is a product of Catholic education, attending St. Francis de Sales Elementary  School and graduating from Vanderbilt Catholic High School. Mrs. Aloisio is excited to be back in the Catholic school system and eager to work with the students, parents, and faculty at OLF. Mrs. Aloisio lives in Lafayette with her husband Chip and their dog Crews. 
 

Director of Institutional Advancement - Mrs. Angela Schoeffler

Mrs. Angela Schoeffler has been at Our Lady of Fatima School since 1995.  Mrs. Schoeffler served as Associate Director of Development for 10 years.  In 2005, she was named Director of Development.  In the summer of 2014, the office changed its name and titles, and she now serves as the Director of Institutional Advancement.  Mrs. Schoeffler also serves as the Executive Director of the Our Lady of Fatima School Foundation.  She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana Lafayette.
